Ancestor Reverence

This course will teach you the importance and relevance of setting up an Ancestor altar and its significance in our lives. Ancestors are our go to, if you will, in the spiritual realms, and in our physical spaces. Without them a lot of us would and can sometimes feel lost and/or confused in our daily lives. You will also learn the importance of maintaining your altar, as well as keeping your altar clean and well fed. This means that you will learn the importance of spending quality time, having truthful conversations, and literally cooking, feeding and sharing a meal sometimes with your Ancestral team. 
For years we’re either not educated about our Ancestors or we’re taught that honoring them was to be done behind closed doors. We were taught to be ashamed and fearful, but if not for the Ancestors we would not be. So, in honoring them, you are also honoring yourself. In working to learn and understand them, you are working to learn and understand yourself.

Healing Childhood Trauma Class Series
